Not even sure if this is the right section of the site to put it at but if it isn't then I am cool with it being moved.

Mostly all of my lays have come from a mixture of online game, running into the same girl over and over again a few times, some social circle, and only a small amount from cold approach. I am just not that good with cold approach as most guys on this forum are and even the success I've had with cold approach, it's been because the girl was already giving off some clear IOIs to where even a beginner could have some luck. So to help my cause, I am going to approach 10 girls a week and at the end of the week, the number will restart. Along the way, I am hoping other guys on here can make some comments that might help me out. If any of these are successful and I get laid from them, that will go in the field reports section as I will write a lay report for them.

Week 1

Girl 1:

Cute redhead with glasses at a place I love to get coffee at, was standing behind her, notice a scone that was massive.

Me: See that scone?
Her: Ya
Me: That must be for a group

Her: I know right, everyone here is serious all the time
Me: You move here recently too?
Her: Yup, from Texas, you?
Me: Went to college in this state but I am from California

Time comes for us to make our orders, we get out drinks. After we order and wait for them, redhead talks to me a bit more but when she gets her drink she says "well it was nice to meet you".

Why did I not go for the number close? I forgot, it's like after a long hard day at work it didn't even register on my mind as much. I should have so gone for the number but I didn't, by the time I realized it and got my drink I could not believe I didn't go for her fucking number. It's like if I do this randomly and am not in that sort of mindset to do it, I always forget to close.

Saw light haired blonde with glasses wearing a sweater on my way back from work, was standing next to her at a traffic stop.

Me: These crossings are usually more crowded right?
Her: (looks at me and looks away)
Me: Yes I said that in case you're wondering

Haven't been as active but did get 9 approaches in this week, texting with some of them now.

# 1:

Monday - Tall leggy mixed race looking girl.

Approach, get ignored by her, whatever.

#2:

Wednesday - Tall leggy brunette with curly hair who kept staring at me.

Go grocery shopping and see a tall tanned brunette that kept staring at me. I just told her "I am not stealing anything", she laughed and I laughed. Talked to her for a while, mainly about the weather but decided to have another conversation about college. She went to Marist and I told her I went to a school outside of the city. Told me she works in advertising and we chatted a bit about that, eventually ended up getting those digits.

Wednesday - Blonde with glasses.

See blonde with glasses at a bookstore I like doing work at, approach her talking about a book and she responds. She was kinda loud, seemed a bit intense, and had that freaked out look in her eyes so I bailed.

Thursday - Tall blonde with cute face and glasses along with hair in a ponytail.

Next to her at a stoplight, takes forever to turn, and then I look at her and say why stop lights take forever to turn when a person has to be somewhere. She smiles, nods, and we talk for a bit. Ask her where she is going, she tells me she is heading back home, I tell her I am too, and then we talk about what we do for a living. She is a grad student at a nearby university but apparently she is trying to get a teaching position. Originally from Ohio but moved to NYC. Grab the digits before leaving.

Thursday - Green eyed brunette with curly hair and a tan.

See this cute girl with a tan, sharp green eyes, and curly hair nearby where I live waiting outside. Tell her its a bad time to think about the meaning of life on a cold day, she laughs, and then we kick off the convo from there. She was originally from Michigan but moved to NYC right after college, told her about how the Wolverines were so close and she says they were but they were robbed. Seemed really into talking to me, grabbed the digits.

Friday - Tall brunette I passed on the street.

Was walking towards a bar when a tall brunette shouts "lookin good man!". I had to make the move, respond saying "we're both looking good, what's your name?". She was with a friend so I ended up having to go a bit faster, friend was pulling her to go but the brunette was stopping. She was from Texas and moved to NYC a couple years ago, we were both talking about life in NYC in your 20s. I end up getting her number as her friend was saying "oh my god, really?".

#7:

Friday - Tall blonde at a bar.

Approach her, talk for a bit, and then out of nowhere her two friends join in. She was from San Francisco and I told her I was raised in Nor Cal. The whole time she just seemed indifferent, whatever, backed off.

Saturday - Italian looking brunette in line at Star Wars Rogue One.

Went to see the Star Wars movie with a couple of friends, see this Italian looking brunette ahead of us in line with her two friends. She looks back at me and I just decide to say "hello", she said hi and smiled. Wow!

Ended up talking about how women are leading in Star Wars and I tell her I am cool with it because a movie is a movie. Friend gets political and starts talking about how feminists are ruining movies and the whole social justice crap. Italian looking girl loses interest, fuck!

Movie was pretty good though.

#9:

Saturday - Dark haired beauty with green eyes and a tan.

Ended up going my own way after watching movie with friends. Headed back home and on the way back home, crossed this girl. She was heading my way, makes eye contact, and smiles. I had to say something, tell her "great weather right?". She responds saying "yes it is!", sarcastically, and laughs. She went to Ohio St and just graduated recently, moved to NYC working in medical sales. I ask her where she is from, tells me she was born in Russia (wtf really?) but came to America when she was young. We talk a bit, and I decide to go for a number close, got it!

Week 3

Back again, highlighting all of my approaches with a lay report on the way soon. Stopped at 5 approaches this week, had to head back home to see family who moved to a completely new region of the country but it all worked out as I managed to get a brand new lay which will be going up on lay reports.

#1:

Monday - Tall brunette with a cute face and a ponytail.

Saw at a pharmacy store and she looked in my direction, smiled go I went up to her with an opener. Told her how everyone has been getting sick a lot lately, terrible opener IMO but whatever. Talk to her a bit but I was not feeling that well and this was after a long day of work so I told her I can't do much tonight. Handed her the phone and told her to put the number in, said she had a boyfriend, that was that.

#2:

Tuesday - Asian/white mix on the way to my apartment, instant date!

See her standing around outside of a cafe waiting looking lost, approached her, she responded with a smile. Short talk about the weather which has been horrible lately and then I asked her if she was waiting for someone. Told me she was deciding on where to go next for something to eat, asked her if she was alone, she said yes, and I told her I am going to join her to which she laughed and then respectfully said no. Tried to go for number close, no luck.

Wednesday - Tall brunette with angular face, cute small nose, and a pony tail.

Had a great morning where I got plenty of good sleep, woke up, and the usual routine of heading to work. Work day ended, was not exhausted, and headed back home but then I saw her. Just looking at her gave me a boner so I just had to find a way to approach. She was at a stoplight and I just fuck it, went up to her and told her that the pony tail looks good on her.

Much to my surprise, she turns around, smiles, and man those teeth were all nice, white, and shiny. She says thanks and was in a good mood so I ask her more about herself. Apparently she moved to NYC from Illinois two years ago, went to school in Urbana. I ask her what she was in NYC for and she tells me she works in fashion, told her I would have guessed. Tells me her name, I tell her mines, and then get her number, tell her I am taking her out on a date sometime this week and she says okay, smiling while she does it.

Wednesday - Really hot Asian girl I ran into while out for a walk.

She was standing out, just staring, I go up to her, talk to her, she looks at me, looks away, and that is that.

Thursday - Cute ethnic looking girl with glasses.

See her at a cafe on my way to work in the morning but I was out early so had time to burn. I saw her peeking in my direction a few times then looking away, here we go. She looked kinda Persian or Latino, not too sure, but she had the black framed glasses that looked great on her. Go up to her, talk to her, she smiles, seemed shy, and we chatted for a bit.

Drink was ready but I didn't pick it up so the guy working shouts out and says "your drink is ready!". I pick it up and immediately go back to talking to the girl. She said she is from France, staying in the US, working for some NGO, and I tell her what I do. It was getting crowded, tell her to put the number in my phone and we'll meet up soon. She said yes, smiled, and told me her name, and said "see you!" in a cute French accent.

Week 4

Came back from visiting the family on late Tuesday afternoon, right then and there decided to do some approaches at the airport. Just being away from a city with a lot of attractive women for that long can give you that home free feeling once you get back.

#1:

Cute looking redhead at a coffee shop in the airport, go right up to her and tell her I thought she was kinda cute and had to come talk to her. She is caught off guard, smiles, and then says "well uh sorry", then out of nowhere comes some dark haired guy with a foreign accent (probably Spanish) and asks if there is a problem. Obviously her boyfriend, I didn't get that and so not off to a good start lol.

#2:

After getting my drink, run into a cute brunette with freckles as I am on my way out of the airport, luckily did not have much luggage. Talk to her, tell her I thought she was kinda cute so I had to come talk to her, she was waiting for her ride outside, she was receptive, we chatted for a bit and exchanged numbers.

#3:

Went out to go get dinner after a nap but ran into a cute blonde Hayden Panetierre lookalike on my way, fuck it, had to try my luck. Go up to her, do the same thing to where I tell her I thought she was cute and she seems receptive. Not used to receptiveness from blondes, they're usually bitches up here, but she was nice. Asked her where she was from, it was Wisconsin, no surprise. Tell her I would have guessed she wasn't from around here because she is too nice to be a New Yorker, she laughed. She went to UW-Madison and I tell her it was so sad that the Badgers lost to Penn St, she has an expressive outburst saying "I know!". This girl is the real deal, I HAD to go for the number close.

Tell her "look, it is a big city and I think you're cute, put your number in my phone and lets go out sometime". She does it, well, that's a way to get the ball rolling!

#4:

Get into the restaurant I am at, wait in line, and see this one mixed looking girl who keeps looking at me, I decide to tell her that it is too cold for her to be wearing a light jacket. She responds says I am "too rude" to be eyeing her like that in front of others, way out loud, fucking cunt. Whatever, ignore her as her friend comes and she tells her friend what I said, OUT LOUD. I ignore her as her friend says "isn't that kinda sleazy dude?", friend is your typical white washed Asian chick. I nod and say "well I am sleazy but I'll work on it, new years resolution!". Get a lecture on why I should not objectify women, what a bunch of fucking cunts.

Get my meal, the cashier gives me this disgusted look, and then I bail.

#5:

Now we're on to Wednesday, just go out to get some shopping done and run into this cute brunette with glasses who is looking at some bars and smiling. I tell her they help you get better, nice right. She looks back at me, smiles in a forced smile kind of way, and then says "ya I know!" and then rolls her eyes. Next!

#6:

Shopping for some steak in the grocery store and then I see this one curly haired brunette with glasses and a tan, just by the look of it I got a strong feeling that she was French. Go up to her, tell her I thought she was cute, and she smiles. Ask for her name, we get a short convo going, like half a minute in some fat older guy yells at me and says "we have to get food here! take your canned pickup lines elsewhere". Eyes wide open, I smile, and then I grab the girl and move my cart and hers out of his way. Talk to her and ask her more things about herself, she is from France (guessed it right!) and moved to NYC a year ago, going to grad school here. Oddly enough like more than a minute in, she tells me it can feel lonely in NYC.

I am not going to wait around any longer, this girl clearly just let me know she needs company, ask for her number and tell her I will be seeing her soon for a date and she smiled when she gave it. Not sure why I didn't ask her to come home with me then and there but it would have been too risky, will get with her soon, I just know it!

Came home after that, done with approaches for a Wednesday, dick was hard just thinking about fucking her French pussy, I've been with French girls before and they can fuck!

Now moving on to Thursday.

Went out this afternoon to see the city, decided to get some coffee. Coffee shop was a fucking goldmine and I see this one girl that catches my eye. Tall and cute looking brunette with a small nose and an almost perfect face. Go up to her, tell her she is cute, and she smiles at the approach. Then out comes this bearded Middle Eastern looking dude who seems to be with her, its her boyfriend, I back off, and it was all cool from there.

Short brunette with green eyes and a really cute face, she was in line at the shop. Tell her I thought she was cute and she smiles saying thanks. She was from Texas, went to Texas St and was living in NYC working in accounting. Definitely a beauty with her beautiful green eyes, had to comment on it and then I tell her it must be easy for people to have eye contact with her because of her green eyes. Ask her what her background is, she says "typical American background, mutt!", while smiling.

WTF am I doing, this girl is smiling and so cute, I have to keep it moving. Ask her what she is doing for NYE, tells me she is going to this huge party, and I tell her that is the awesome part of being in NYC. She asks me what I am doing, I say that I am going to have some decisions to make and it will depend on what my friends are up to. Well, she invites me out to this big party which seems to be very open that will take place at NYE and I say I'll definitely consider it after getting her number down, it seems like it is going to be a big one. Get my coffee, the convo took maybe 15 minutes because it takes a long fucking time to make coffee at this place but I am grateful for it!

I might consider bringing the French girl I met to the NYE party and see if I can get the blonde from Wisconsin to come too, this is shaping up to be a hell of a NYE!!!!
