2 scenarios

This was at the club:

1. If you do a come hither to a chick and she doesn't come, do you go to her? Or not? Aiming for the law of least effort.

2. Should you go after a chick that is showing you a lot of attention and flirting all over you while she has a dude all over her and she's showing him love and she's showing you love too?

Chick kept trying to get my attention kept touching me while she had this dude all over her, she showed him some love too, but I didn't know what was going on with that so I left her alone.

What's up with that?

1) Yeah you should def approach. James bond smooth man law of least effort does NOT mean that you don't approach. It's not a great thing for them to not comply like that right off the bat, but its always good to approach. You can joke right off the bat about them not being fun or adventurous. In general, hither to is too hit or miss for me, however. I find a commanding "you, come over here", if she's hesitant, "2 seconds, come here for 2 seconds", when she gets to you - "idk you're hot who are you" or really whatever you want to say. It's more polarizing tho, so if they aren't single or interested its a much harsher rejection than simply not coming to a come hither to, but the ones that hook hook so much harder with an approach like this.

2) Simply ask her if that's her boyfriend. If it is, I just peace... not worth the competition, but most of the time it isn't, and then you can say something along the lines, "Good, you're fucking hot, I was going to steal you anyway" and isolate/close-in/pull her in, fast. My move for this would be to just wrap my arms around her waist and see how compliant she is. If she's cool with it, then id spin her away from any other guy and just flirt, possibly move her to another area.

There's nothing wrong with asking chicks shit and being shameless about what you're after. Sounds like in general you're trying a bit too hard to be mr. cool guy at the club. While you do want to be cool, you also need to be able to match the energy of the room during initial interactions. Then you can move girls to more low key locations if that is your game. If you want to be chill in energy - then you need to up physical dominance and aggressiveness equally so you don't just get lost in the crowd attempting to be cool.

The 2nd scenario I didn't know if she was trying to make him jealous or if she was trying to start some drama, so I didn't want to pursue.
