Howdy. I stumbled along Girlschase a couple of weeks ago, and it really opened my eyes to things, and confirmed a few suspicions I've always held as well. Most importantly, I've come to really that socializing and seduction are skills, which bodes well for me, as that means I'll be able to learn them, instead of just being born as sexy as I was ever going to get. My parent's were strictly religious, and I live in a small Australian town (<100 people), and thus between the two I haven't had much exposure to women (although at eighteen I'm still quite young, so hopefully I've not missed too much.)
I was looking at the Newbie Assignment and realized it wasn't quite practical for myself, given my location, to be able to approach everyday. As such, I plan to turn a day that I have to be in Adelaide (South Australia's capital) all day with realitively nothing to do, into a mass learning experience; my first opportunity to test the stuff I've learned. I'm posting this message to hold myself accountable.
Here's the day's goal:
At least 10 approaches in 3-4hours, taking them as far as I possibly can. Realistically, I would be happy to get some numbers, as this my first time cold approaching. I'll be doing this on April 5th, and vow to reply to this post to say I've done it. Hopefully I can post some field reports in the appropriate forum section as well, detailing my first steps on my seduction journey, so that other newbies and I can learn from my (probably many!!!) mistakes from the more experienced.
If anyone has any tips, they would be very much appreciated.
