After 1st date, no response to text, lost interest already?

Hey guys! I had a coffee date with a girl I met randomly at a dining hall. At the end, I could tell that she didn't want to really leave. I took Chase's advice and texted her this after one day so that she wouldn't auto-reject me:

"Hey! Just wanted to let you know I had a great time getting coffee with you!"

Now, I usually wait for about 2-3 more days before asking a girl out on another date. The only problem is, she DIDNT respond to that text I gave her. Is this problematic and a sign she lost interest already? Thanks guys!

I left about 40 minutes in because I had class in 10 minutes and also she had work. The bigger issue was that I didn't want to overstay and lose the attraction that way.

I ask because you should have led and escalated. Take her to an intimate location and fuck. May have been what she wanted you know?

I'd try texting her in a few days with something like:

"I so feel like I'm neglecting you! hope everything is good "

She responds with whatever

"Well hey what's your schedule like this week?" or "What are you up to friday?" or "Are you free on xxxx?" just push for another meet.

Make sure this next meet you have logistics covered. If she doesn't text you back then walk away.

Don't worry. The reason why she didn't respond is because it wasn't a question. She probably feels pleased to know that you enjoyed your time with her, and is just waiting for you to arrange another date with her. Fire her another text to arrange for a real date this time, but make sure you move fast.

Dude, same thing happened to me. Texted her the next day after a first date with:

"Hey Ashley - had a great time with you last night. What do you say we keep the ball rolling .... I think it'd be fun to make a home cooked dinner, you like tacos? You free Saturday?"

Crickets... is it really because I didn't escalate physically?
