I liked what I saw of it on youtube... definitely more so than any other in-field footage. I've been thinking to myself that if I could bang two girls within a month, that I'd treat myself to it. For me personally, at the moment, I wouldn't trust myself to be buying it for the right reasons. Frankly, I haven't been making much of an effort lately, so I'd fear that I'd be buying it out of desperation.

At the moment they're doing a so called anniversary sale where they've reduced prices that last for 48 hours. But when the time elapses, it just starts the count down again!!! They'll probably keep it up for a fortnight. So giving that they're doing that sort of sales ploy stuff who's to even say if the "$197" price is really reduced or not!

Don't buy the "Hotseat At Home", my friend used to work for RSD and said that the amount of infield promised vs actually in the product is very dismal. The product was supposed to have much more infield but for whatever reason they never got around to actually putting the infield in there (but perhaps they have by now?).

I have however attended a Hot Seat in person, including the Hot Seat Transformational event (which I think is the only Hot Seat they do these days). The infield with breakdown is pretty cool and you need to make sure you take good notes so you don't forget what you learned. The transformational part of the event is interesting to say the least, albeit extremely cultish and weird. I personally would rather skip the transformational activities and just watch more infield but Tyler and the gang are focusing on the transformational thing these days.

The live events are a really good opportunity to get motivated and fired up to go hit the ground running afterward. Also in the past RSD events can also be a good place to make friends if the event is in or near your city, but I think the demographic of people attending has changed to be a bit more weird cult follower types of people than it was 2-3 years ago when I was going to RSD events.

So maybe go to an event if its near your city but if your going to invest in your education you'd be better off buying Chase's One Date than RSD Hotseat at Home.

Thats my take.

That sounds terrible. Almost like fraud, considering all his high-minded talk Tyler does, about how to do good, and good business strategies for the long haul, etc. They could have at least waited until lost in-field footage was ready to be included, before selling it. There must have been a lot of complaints?

Between that, and Todd being sacked, I'd just have to wonder about Owen. He's good on the free tour vids but on the hot seat advert, he comes across as just another hustler trying to sell something... full of cliches... at one point in it he said "I've done all this for you guys". I mean, come on?!

Anyways I'm in Ireland. I don't think RSD come here. After all, Julien was banned from the British Isles or something. At least there's three good hot seat break-downs (of Owen) on youtube (as well as snippets of other bits), but I'd imagine they're the best ones, if he chose to put those ones on youtube. The hot seat is a bit like spoon feeding, which isn't what Owen seems to stand for.

I'd definitely be skeptical.

I don't think Tyler purposely meant to put out a less than expected product, as much as he just didn't get around to beefing up the product infield wise (though that could be changed as of now?). There is plenty of content from what I heard but just lacking in infield but I've never actually used the product or seen it first hand so this is just what I've been told from an employee of RSD.

Well hey you gotta sell to make money but I wouldn't get my hopes too down on Tyler, I think he genuinely does everything in his power to help people (if you ever attend a live event of his you'll know how much he cares and isn't "phoning it in".. he'll go 8 hours straight until 2AM and not blink an eye its pretty wild actually). It just might be that he just didn't make that amazing of a product and RSD's board of directors put pressure on him to release the product "as is" so he just said fuck it and released it... I mean who knows right? Bad business but no ones perfect. So just seek out live events since you know those are good (or at least used to be when I was active 2-3 years ago).

Tyler is a cool guy but RSD has definitely done some sketchy stuff. Not so much Tyler's doing as he doesn't handle the business operations as much as Nick and board of directors but they've definitely done some shady shit lol. If you want an interesting insight into the company check this vid out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l-Dxjleutc&t=2556s

I always have to wonder about how those cameras get so close! I don't even get the impression that the camera men are subterfuging, or disguising the cameras!

What I'd really like to know, is did he ever end up in situations where the girl would've copped she was being filmed, and freaked out?! He never seems to even consider that as a risk! But I guess that wouldn't bother him... he'd probably just keep trying again.

If you watch the hot seats on youtube well enough, the one thing it'll sort of teach you, is that you don't really need the hot seat!

Aren't those guys who attend the tour events ever afraid of being caught on camera, and then being all over youtube? Especially the transformation stuff!!

I think RSD makes you sign a waiver on the paywall saying you submit to being filmed etc. etc. which no one ever reads. Yeah I personally wouldn't want to be in the front row getting filmed at an RSD event these days but I suppose that the only people at risk of seeing you are RSD fans that already watch RSD vids (that and internet haters).

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake
