Asking out a girl in a group

Hello guys!

Hopefully someone can help me with this.

I see this group of people on the terrace of a certain bar very often. They always sit at the same table, probably on a break. There is a cute girl in there. I passed them a couple of times and I see the girl is giving me the looks (once i looked at her and she looked down, in a submissive way). Pretty sure she likes me.

Now, here's my plan: I will go there, start a conversation with a group: "Hey guys, i see you here all the time. You look like you work in the nearby museum, blabla." Introduce myself, chat for a minute or two.

Then I would say: "I'm gonna be honest, i came here because I think your friend is really cute and i wanted to ask her out for a drink." And let the chips fall where they may.

Obviously, this puts some pressure on the girl. She could reject me even if she likes me.

If anyone, especially experienced guys, can give me some suggestions or tips, it would be much appreciated.

You can go for the let the chips fall where they may approach which is what the new pickup people advocate or if you really want to nail it not only with this girl but consistently with other girls you will encounter in groups like this, google Group Theory by Mystery, old school Tyler Durden posts and Style and others who specialized in this. Its a lot more work and will send you down a rabbit hole which has what has happened to me now.
