Hi Guys,

I happen to auto-reject friends from the past. I tend to not pay much attention too much when we happen to meet by chance, or find myself exit for no reason after greetings or just walk past them while saying Hi. Do you guys do this? and why do my body automatically leave?

I think this is more to what value they can offer.

Zac,

Yeah, it depends on a few things, I think.

a) How much time I have, if I'm in a rush, busy, etcetera.
b) How well I know/used to know the person
c) Like you said, value level is at play here as well
d) Maybe I'm not in the greatest mood, or not feeling well

I think if they were a close friend, you should make time to at least stop and exchange a few pleasantries no matter what, though.

I did exchange pleasantries but it was very neutral. It's very hard to describe this feeling because my past friends don't regard me highly. Maybe it's an arrogance thing but i made some of them uncomfortable because i behave differently, which is i no longer the 'friendly chode guy', at least not as bad as before.

I was very bad with friends, and people don't regard me highly until later on. I just didn't knew how to make friends and maybe luck has always been on the bad side when i was young. So yea, It's a situation where no one talks about. Chase once noted you don't say this kind of stuff because people will run away, and they do.

I don't know, just feel something amiss. but all points are great. there seems to be a need for universal approval, that i still occasionally have.
