While learning here on GC, I've found myself becoming a fierce warden of my emotions. I've been trying so hard to be cool and nonchalant, and maintain absolute control in interactions, that I'm becoming emotionally manipulative, and turning into a bit of a social robot. This talk reveals that the reason I might be doing this is because it's easier, and safer to be that way, but at the same time, I'm robbing myself of the genuine vibe and easy connection building that comes across when you allow yourself to be vulnerable and real with people. I haven't understood everything in the talk, but it is very interesting, and I think quite valuable for my "heart game".
