Hey everyone!

I'm planning a trip to New York City soon, and I’m coming all the way from Italy, so naturally, I’m curious about the best nightlife spots to sarge in the city that never sleeps!

I’d love recommendations for:

  1. Bars/clubs with high energy where you can open easily.
  2. Any hidden gems or places that attract a more international crowd.
Also, for those of you who have done game in Europe (especially in Italy), I’d love to hear about your experiences and thoughts on the main differences between gaming here vs. in the US.

From my experience in Italy, nightlife is often about social circles and people tend to stay in groups, so sometimes it takes a little extra effort to break in.

Are Americans more approachable or open to cold approaches? Any tips on adjusting for NYC culture?

Looking forward to any advice or insights you can share!
Grazie mille!

I doubt you'll get any messages on favorite locations-people probably don't want their favorite spots becoming oversaturated.

But yes americans are open to being approached-daygame, nightgame, etc. Foreigners almost always get a bonus no matter where you go.

Given the reputation of Italians I expect you're probably more persistent than the average american, but I think that should be seen as a positive.

Good luck!

Hey @bslagrinta can you expand more on this, I’m going to study abroad in Italy in the next few days, want some recommendations for Rome, night game/daygame and anything else helpful.

To answer your questions I don’t have recommendations for the best places in NYC for night game, I’m not of age yet. I can name some of the popular NYC clubs, idk if it’s worth ur time, someone else can fill you better in on that.

As for being Italian, that will be seen as a huge bonus among American women, and attractive women in NYC are really easy to find, day game or nightgame, you should have no problem meeting women should you find a decent venue.

Then you should be good. In Rome, especially in Central and Southern Italy, people are more social, and being an American will be a huge advantage. Another good thing is that in Italy, you can go to clubs even if you are under 18. Unfortunately, I don’t know any specific clubs to recommend.

To make the most of your time, start socializing as soon as possible and explore the city, focusing on the piazzas and areas with vibrant nightlife. These spots are great for meeting people and immersing yourself in the local culture. Additionally, if you search "Roma eventi" on Instagram, you'll likely find some exciting events and recommendations for things to do.

What are the chances of having a ONS ? I'm curious to understand how the dynamics work in terms of meeting someone, building that kind of connection, and whether the environment or cultural factors play a significant role in making it more likely.

Thanks!

Really, so only in northern Italy are people more closed off?

For a major city, how attractive are the women of Rome?

I plan to hit the ground running, and I’m pretty sure everyone I’m studying abroad with will be going out as well.

Depends, for most bars and clubs there’s no entrance fee, but be prepared to bring some spare change just in case.

For high end clubs entrance fee depends on events and time of the year, but since NYE just finished, I would imagine entrance fees would be on the lower side.

The women in Rome are definitely beautiful, and the city itself is incredibly vast and tourist-friendly, so you shouldn’t have any trouble meeting people. Rome’s mix of locals and visitors creates plenty of opportunities to connect with others.

My main advice would be to start socializing right away. Make an effort to stand out more than the others you’re with—whether it’s through your personality, confidence, or just being approachable. The earlier you start making connections, the easier it will be to make the most of your experience in such an amazing city.

What part of New York is best for nightlife with a lot of bars and clubs?
