Hi Inferno,

Hey im in school and this girl keeps saying we're in a relationship and we haven't even hooked up, am I making myself too attainable?

You need to elaborate how you get to know the girl and who she is, maybe you know her before or something. Otherwise, it's common sometimes for friend friend's to call you their boyfriend and you practically don't know anything. Things like this happen too. Women telling other women you are theirs.

I've had this happen to me with a girl from my Spanish 3 class, her reputation in school was being a flirt so I didn't take her seriously. However, toward the end of the semester she claimed her feelings were genuine and offered to make out with me before class. I was turned off because I couldn't out why she was so interested in me. She would attempt to footsie me during class, clear interest signs yes but she did it with other boys in school too. Needless to say someone else took her up on her offers and he got his heart broke, so I agree with ZacAdam on this one.

It's hard to call without actually being there and seeing what's happening. It could be flirting or teasing which both lead to interest in one way or another.

Like what Dave said, just watch out.

She could be using you as entertainment, something to brag to her other friends (pretending she has a boyfriend, so that she feels wanted).

Most of the time it is a way of flirting, so I would just flirt back with her, but don't take her seriously. Take her to bed anyway! ;)
