Hey guys, did another approach, which turned out to be a little mini instadate. Could have made it longer, but I needed to do things, and another person was messing up the flow a bit, both of which I will get into.
I head to a cafe for lunch and coffee, and the place is almost crowded, I see a cute girl sitting alone, listening to something.
I open her saying “come estais?”(how are you in Italian). She has no idea what I’m saying, then I proceed to tell her I was practicing my Italian.
She then tells me that she’s from a different country, but living here as a student. I tell her where I’m from.
Early on in the interaction, I tell her that “making new friends in cafes is better than listening to recordings.”
She says “it’s ok” but later says “it’s actually really nice meeting new people.”
I ask her what major she is, she says fashion and I use that as an opportunity to complement her on her fashion, she says “noooo it’s just casual.”
She mostly seems reserved, but compliant about talking to me. I used incidental touch throughout the interaction to make sure this was not platonic.
During the interaction, I also asked her any good places around Rome. She said idk at first, but later she was telling me a few things I can do, and I ask her to show me around, she says sure and I grab her Whatsapp.
We keep talking, but another girl sits near us, and when I ask her questions, she keeps interjecting, which really messed up my flow and making an intimate bubble with this girl.
Eventually, I have to leave to finish some work, so I put my things away, and tell her bye.
Sorry this is not the most understandable FR, but I am just trying to include the important details. Didn’t tell her how old I was, which is a good thing, and no instagram this time.
All in all, it started to go well, but when the other girl sat down, the vibe was lowkey ruined. Anyways she agreed to take me around Rome, so that’s a positive. Any other things I need to work on?
