Can't edit my posts

I'm getting this error message when I try to edit my posts:

"Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console."

I don't see further details though.

Is this happening for anyone else?

I've had that happen to me as well. I noticed it happens when I try to edit soon after I just submitted the post/PM/etc.

So it's not just me..

It seems to only happen with some posts but not others. I've made some posts that I was able to edit. Others I cannot edit.

Probably a caching issue with the cloud proxy we use.

There was a bug with Girls Chase today where you'd get immediately logged out after logging in. Cleared the cache and it went away.

Anyway, just cleared the cache for SS now too. Let me know if that gets it working.

It's still happening... even 2 different posts I made in the past 15 minutes, one of them I can edit, the other I cannot...

@Chase do you think you could have your developer take a look at this? It's still happening quite frequently, where about 30-40% of posts I can't edit them after I write them.

Happens to me when i try to edit a post containing emojis.

What i do to fix it is to convert the emojis into their :<text>: form -- eg. into :sunny with a trailing :

Not sure if this is the only thing. Hope this helps.

no, emoji is not the decisive factor. I made a post with emoji and one without, I was able to edit both.

I've noticed if I use an emoji that is not from the forum's emoji's list, then try to edit later, the forum blocks the edit.

It's happened to me a couple of times. Let's try... here's one that does not appear in the forum's emoji list: .

I'll be able to submit this post, but if I'm right, I won't be able to edit it.

Not to say there couldn't be other issues. But this is the one I've noticed: emojis not in the forum's emoji list.

They'll go through the first time, but you won't be able to edit and re-save. Have to remove those emojis or replace them with ones the forum allows.
