Okay, so I chatted up this chick who was standing in front of me at the coffee shop, and transitioned it to an insta date. We met up a few days later to cook dinner at my place, and then got intimate (no resistance).
We hung out once a week for about a month, following Chase's advice of keeping things minimal: meeting at my place, chilling, and having sex. We went out for dinner once, but just down the street, so not flashy or anything. I did slip up once and saw her 2 days in a row, but that was before I read the advice to not meet more than once a week.
Then she went away for 6 weeks. I didn't initiate a text once while she was gone, but she texted me about once a week (and I responded warmly). She got back recently and came over and we had good sex twice (I followed Chase's suggestions and banged her for 45 minutes straight, definitely the longest I've ever lasted; she orgasmed several times and seemed to really like it, and commented on my stamina). In total we've probably hung out 6 or 7 times in 10 weeks, and banged like 20 times.
Ok, so to clarify, I am into this girl, the sex is good, and she has a feature that I very much like (large shapely butt), but she doesn't make me go "wow!" as Chase describes in his love at first sight series. And that's what I want--a girlfriend who makes me go "wow!". So I am very much into hanging out with her and having sex, but I'm not willing to commit.
My issue is that I want to avoid hurting her, and I want to avoid getting hooked on her big butt, losing my drive to continue picking up, and winding up in a monogamous relationship. I don't have other girls that I'm seeing, so continuing to hang out with her is a danger, no? I did some pickup while she was gone but didn't get any lays (was sidelined with back pain and depression for much of the time so didn't do as many approaches as I could have/should have).
What's odd is that she hasn't really asked me anything about my future goals, like if I want kids, want to get married etc. She seems pretty into me so my guess is that she's trying to get my hooked on the sex, and then she'll have power. But it's odd to me she hasn't probed on those topics.
Should I end it? Should I bring up with her that I like her and like hanging out but am not prepared to commit? I'm not great at this stuff, so thanks for any help!
Edit: I also know Chase doesn't do FWBs because he's seen too many guys do it and get complacent with girls they aren't thrilled with, simply because they get hooked and lose their drive.
