Last week, I had the privilege of hanging out with @superseducer and doing nightgame with him at Barracuda on a Thursday, a venue that sends shock and fear through the hearts of most guys in the Miami Game community. As @superseducer can attest to, Barracuda was quite cliquey. Along with Barracuda, another venue I would do Game is would be Regatta, where me and @superseducer initially met up. On Fridays and to an extent, Saturdays, this venue is packed and it is a large outdoor bar with a beautiful marina view. Old school Miami guys like @DonGately may remember The Wharf back in the day, it is a replacement for that.

The thing about these venues is that you get a ton of college girls and that means not just large cliques, but them also running into people they know in general in the venue or area.

For as big of a city as Miami is, man can it start to feel small at times when you get away from super touristy spots.

One issue we have had and I actually had this past Saturday is the last second cockblock right as you are taking a girl home. You walk out of the bar with her and along the way, someone she knows runs into her and talks to her. Now she feels shamed of going home with a random guy or something but the set is over.

I had it happen to me this Saturday at Regatta. A friend and I hit it off with these two Midwestern girls who go to school in Miami. We had strong chemistry and proposed they come to our place for drinks which they were down with. We lead them out of the giant venue and then walk out towards the area where Ubers can pick us up. It is so close to my place that a walk would be like 10 min but I did not want to risk it, prefer a 3 min Uber instead lol.

Right as we walk there, these three girls walking towards the venue open our group. Obviously the fat one opens and said "OMG (my girl's name) out loud!". They start giggling and jumping up as a look of dread hits my friend's face. The three girls ignore us while our midwestern girls are talking about us. The three girls attempt to pull them into the bar to say they are meeting such and such there. The midwestern girls try to invite us but we say we will join them later in the night.

This has happened to me at least 5 times. It has me and my friend to a point where we think every girl is playing KGB to a girl she vaguely knows sometime.

The worst one was when I almost took home this French foreign exchange student but some annoying sorority chick who recognized her from a class immediately got in the way as the girl was walking out with me.

I feel like I don't run into this as much at a more touristy nightclub or grown up cocktail bar. Do any of you have any advice on how to deal with this?

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

For me when I’m out and about and people recognize my friends it’s usually to my benefit because it social proofs me.

My advice would’ve been the uber because it would add the time restraint and get you to point b. If you just interject and said “Our uber is here in three minutes we’ve gotta go is usually enough for me to move the set back to my place. If that doesn’t work I’m not sure of any fantastic full proof methods.
