I haven't really ever had too much of a problem of attracting women. I have however been supplicating to a certain type of woman (the exotic stripper type) in several relationships that I've been in and I have always had a hard time cold approaching. I usually do pretty well I'm social circle but until I found Girls Chase I hadn't even really played around too much of the idea of cold approach much. I thought it was something either creeps tried to do or naturals were just born with the ability to pull off. I also forgot to mention that in the past, I have taken rejection extremely hard and have let it affect my confidence at times. That has gotten better with age and reading the site but especially in my early 20's it wrecked me. I'm now 27 and I started playing around with cold approach after reading Chase's book and ended up getting some good results. It didn't last long however; I ended up falling into the boyfriend category fairly often even when not trying to play the part and am now with an amazing girl.
Now understanding the two year drop and learning about the problem of losing sexual value as a man in a relationship, wanting to keep growing in attractiveness and value, and loving the girl that I'm with, I have made the choice to work on my cold approach skills as far as opening, fundamentals, voice tone, banter, rapport, investment, and being an all around better man, without taking it any further because I don't want to be a cheater. Just preparing myself for that 2 year drop and beating off oneitiS.
So anyways I had just got off of work on a Tuesday afternoon and I was at a local shopping center in the next town over. I was wearing my work uniform (girls have told me many times they think that it's sexy) and I was slowly walking about with my eyes looking a little over everyone and trying to walk as masculine as possible while not over doing it (gunslinger walk from Chases book because it fits my look; skin fade, muscles and tattoos). I tried to place myself in a sexual state as directed from Ricardus. I headed into the book store at the location I was at and slowly and strongly walked around acting like I was looking for something ( I really like books anyways) and tried to use my peripheral awareness to see any attractive women. At first two fairly attractive Asian girls I got AA, remembered about social momentum so I said "hi" to one girl and felt a little bit better so I ventured up stairs and saw a gaggle of young college Asian chicks sitting on the ground giggling to eachother. I positioned myself near them by acting like there was a book I wanted to check out near them, made eye contact with one and smiled and said, " you girls having fun down there?" The ugliest one looked at her friends for approval and kind of gave a pause before saying "yeah" and I didn't feel like approaching the group just breaking the AA so I moved on. After two warm up direct openers that went awkwardly I went into a near by coffee shop and as soon as I walked in I positioned myself in a 'powerful man assessing the room without scanning' pose and saw through my peripheral view that a young Brazilian-looking chick had assessed me for a brief moment. I acted like I didn't see her and walked to the counter. A couple was still deciding what they wanted to order and told me to go ahead so I thought this was a good time to Preopen with the "glance and smile" in the girls direction toward the couple before ordering. As I waited for my tea I knew my game plan and said " fuck it!" I strolled over to the ebony and acted like she caught my eye as I was within several feet of her and opened, "excuse me, I saw you here and I just had to say ...(eyes scanning down to her moccasin style boots) you have the most amazing sense of style. I really like the colors and your boots you really pull it off " with a slow natural smile that I meant along with the compliment. Looking back, it was about as genuine as genuine could get and I felt the openers earlier had been forced and disingenuous. Anyways, the girl immediately smiled warmly and said, "thank you!" I immediately introduced myself and she followed with her name. I asked her what she had going on for the rest of the night and she told me she was meeting a friend and asked me the same. I glanced over at the empty chair next to her and made a 'may I' hand gesture and asked if I could sit down. She said of course so I did. She asked me questions I would briefly answer always redirecting the conversation back to her without it looking like I was hiding anything and as I felt at about the 5 min mark I said, " You seem like a nice girl, would you like to grab a bite to eat some time?" She said , "Absolutely" and we exchanged numbers. Her friend showed up shortly after just as I was leaving and she introduced me to her friend. She texted me on the way home that " it was really nice meeting me" and before deleting her number I replied with something similar.
I would like to point out that the first few warm up sets felt awkward and I could get a sense that the girls themselves senses that, I took it as rejection ( reactions instead of results ) and got down on myself before meeting this bitty. Please give advice I'm open for it.
