After attempting to seduce women in a variety of locations in the past few years, on both the European and North American landmasses, I have noticed an odd rule-of-thumb on approach locations, which makes no sense analytically; if anything it seems totally counterintuitive.

This is that in so-called "liberal" or more "open-minded" environments, i.e. those places which have a reputation for tolerance of alternative lifestyles, soft drug use, no-strings encounters, etc., women are actually LESS OPEN to being approached or if they are open, LESS LIKELY to want to take things further.

While in more "conservative", traditional environments, where people are encouraged to conform to long-held social expectations, women are both MORE OPEN to my approach and MORE LIKELY to "egg me on" to push for escalation.

Does anyone else have this experience, and can there be any rational explanation for it?
