Watch Taylor Swift's "I knew you were trouble" music video and check out the main guys style. Swift is sexy here.

I think that's dudes got style! That's what I'll be aiming for, it's well dressed and edgy. It fits his personality well too, so I'll have to keep that in mind. You could easily come across as a wimpy hipster in those clothes.

I even like the hat, anyone know where I can find that kind of hat or what that style is called?

I like the guys hat. It's not quite a fedora which has too much stigma from being way overused, yet is still stylish, unlike most alternatives.

Any idea what kind/brand it is?

Suspenders are a cool touch too, though I feel like it could easily look tryhard out and about unless combined with the dirty white shirt and the accessories he has to give it that grungier vibe. Still, I bet if I saw that guy walking around, in most contexts I'd assume he was a rock and roll musician or involved in some grungy music oriented subculture. For me this look'd be more a targeted one I'd wear once every week or two, instead of a baseline go-to look.

After some research I think it might be a Pork Pie style hat. I don't know the brand. I know nothing about hats.

Agree about the context and congruence needed for the outfits. Good thing I am a musician, but I'll put my own spin on it anyway. I'll have a beard and longer hair which will change the look.

What is your current style Howell? I know you got good taste.

And if you find any good hat brands, please share!

Interesting. I looked up Pork Pie hats, and they are a contender for a hat that I could actually wear.

Right now the only hat that I wear is one which I saw Gustaf Skarsgård (actor from The Vikings) wearing. (This hat: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... d_2010.jpg). I was actually just talking with JJ about this.

You can get it for a few bucks on eBay with free shipping (it's called a castro cap, if you want to know) and I get a lot of compliments about it.

About my current style... it's kind of hard to say. It mostly depends on the weather. If it's really hot, an outfit I like to wear is some grey Tom's shoes, some cool turquoise pants, a black t-shirt with some french writing on it and some triangular symbol thing that is pretty low cut, but not V-cut -- more rounded. Then I wear a silver chain necklace with a round pendant and my camo castro cap. I also wear wool socks, because otherwise those shoes don't fit very well.

My other main warm weather outfit is a greenish downward-sorta-striped short sleeve button up dress shirt, which has a broken buttons so I have to wear it open 2 or 3 buttons down from the collar, and a pair of dark gray linen pants with either the Toms or a pair of boat shoes.

Those are my "easy" outfits which take little effort and still get solid results.
