Cringiest approach ever. Is there a fix?

A girl I was interested was dating, but she broke up and I found her profile in a dating site. Possesed by a madness, I made the cringiest approach possible:

I asked her to go to smoke and while we where taking, I asked her for advice, telling her I was interested on a girl and wanted her opinion. When she said that it was hard for her to say, as she did not knew the girl, I showed her the profile. It all happened in a playful, nonchalant way, and we had a good laugh.

But on the next day, she become distant and I feel she is avoiding me. I am behaving as if it was all a joke.

Is there a way of fixing this disaster?

Don't worry about it, move on.

I got my first girlfriend many years ago from a night out, after getting spontaneously invited on the spot by a friend I stumbled upon on the street, getting home from university. He was joined by two female friends. All night I didn't make a single move on the girl I was interested in. As a dumb STEM undergrad, I offered myself to walk back home the other friend, as it was late at night. Deep down I was a coward who only did this to ask her to give me the phone number of the girl I liked. All the above without me expressing my interest once. Such a clueless naive young man.

So chill.

We've all been there once.
