Dating a Shy, excited girl

I believe my girlfriend is the shy, excited girl type. She seems to fit the description explained in the Girlschase article. Chase wrote that she is logically driven. In terms of communication, do women who are logically driven respond more favorably to logic over emotion or does the same dynamic of emotion over logic apply as it does with other women?

I'd also read more about this type of girl. Chase's article was written 10 years ago and there could be a lot of things to expand in it. For example, physical escalating with those girls (which I have a hard time doing), because they don't send too many signals.
