Day Game and Eye Contact

Specifically day street game. Supposing you are walking beside her, should you be giving eye contact during your opener? And is there much eye contact given during the interaction before you move her elsewhere (to sit down, ideally)? It seems as though searching for eye contact while walking makes you seem tryhard, and thus, making yourself too attainable.

Usually if we're walking side by side, I'll open then once I have her attention, then I'll make eye contact. If you are walking, don't worry too much about eye contact. Ideally, you should be stopping, and talking face to face. That's when eye contact is best. When walking in opposite directions, it's usually best to make a quick pass over her eyes which will make her naturally look at you. Once you see that in your peripheral, just follow what Chase wrote.
