Day 2 of daygaming on campus. My strategy to preventing burning venues or reputation problems is simply approaching girls i meet while walking on campus. I also do brief "walks" around campus where I open girls i see. Today, I opened 3 girls and got contact information (snapchat/instagram) from all 3. I also tested more direct openers since compliment openers seem to lack enough intent when I'm on campus.
First girl:
We were walking towards each other when I waved, took off my headphones and said "hey". She responded hey as well and I opened with:
"I thought you were kinda cute so I wanted to say hey" She laughed and said thank you but she hadn't come to a complete stop. I figured she was in a hurry somewhere so I asked: "You seem like you're in a rush" to which she responded yes. I replied with: "that's cool, I'll walk with you for 2 minutes" and started walking with her.
We made simple small talk about our majors, things happening on campus etc. She had a really technical major so I qualified her on that and proceeded to get her instagram
Second girl
I also met her while walking and waved as well. This time, I noticed she had really pretty eyes so I complimented her on that:
Me: "Wow, you have really pretty eyes. What color are they?"
Her: "(laughs) Thank you. Blue"
Me: They must be a special kind of blue then because I don't see a lot like that. I just thought you were kinda cute and wanted to say hey (offers my hand for a handclasp)
Her: (moves closer to me, maintaining piercing eye contact) thank you!
We exchange names. and she mentions she's in a rush and has to get to her destination in 15 minutes so i decide to walk with her. We make small talk as well and I qualify her on being smart since she was in a STEM major. I also challenged her to get her to qualify herself to me more:
Me: "You're such a huge nerd. you seem like the type to have your head buried in books all day. What else have you got going on outside of school?"
Her: '(laughs) you're right. School is all i've got"
Me: "Ah, i don't think we would get along then"
Her: "Well, i like to paint, draw (etc etc)"
Me: "Oh, that's dope! I used to draw a lot as a kid..."
After talking a bit more, we arrived at the building and she asks for my snapchat
Third girl
The scenario was the same as the two previous girls. I was walking and listening to music when I saw this girl walking towards me. I wave, take off my headphones and say hey. She says hey back and I open: "I just thought you were cute so i wanted to say hey." offering my hand. She blushes and I ask "So where are you headed to?" She says she's going home and I proceeded to walk with her a couple of minutes (Here, she stopped and didn't seem to be in a rush so I could have just moved her away from the sidewalk to talk). We talked about where we were from, majors, why she chose her major and what her future plans were. She actually seemed pretty chill so after walking for a while, I asked for her snapchat and dipped. I think I could have kept the conversation going for a bit longer (maybe 10 minutes) to make sure the contact was more solid.
After this, I messaged all 3 girls. I'm currently having an issue with girls from cold approach ignoring my texts/messages so we'll see how it goes. Overall, nothing stood out too much from these sets
