Socializing Daygame - Indirect or Direct?

Hey There,

So I just completed the articles on Indirect Game versus Direct Game, but how would you do Indirect Game during Day Approaches?

Especially when you use Direct Openers like:
The Direct Compliment Opener
Ricardus's - Are You Single Opener
And the - You remind me of "Lisa: a girl I dated, and all those thoughts and feelings about her came up when I saw you, I had to come over and see what you're about - Opener

And these are all pretty Direct.
And, what I've experienced is that they do get good reactions - However, as stated in the Indirect Game articles...
They give the girl all the validation she needs up-front, so when you go in to ask her out, she either gives a polite No, or give a number that leads to no where, because she's gotten what she needs, the validation, and you've given up all the power by laying out all the cards.

And I'd hate to give up Ricardus's - Are You Single Opener.

Soooooo, how would you use Indirect Game during Day Approaches instead??

Use situational openers. This will largely depend on where you approach. You can use my self devised LAQ method:
Location
Association
Question

Examples:
At a Coffee Shop:
Location: “I see you're at this coffee shop quite often.”
Association: “I usually come here for the iced mocha.”
Question: “What's your favorite coffee here you would recommend to try?”

At a Bookstore:
Location: “I noticed you're in the science fiction section.”
Association: “I'm a big fan of sci-fi novels, especially works by Asimov.”
Question: “Do you have any sci-fi author recommendations?”

At a Dog Park:
Location: “I see our dogs are getting along well.”
Association: “I’ve been bringing Max here every weekend.”
Question: “What’s your dog’s name? Do you come here often?”

But tbh I kinda suck at it, I prefer direct lol
