I'm fortunate that I've managed to tap into a social circle with a pretty active group of people. Within this group are a few friends who want to set me up with their female friends. So far those friends of friends have had characteristics that have made them "non-starters" for me. This is opposed to orbiting females in my social circle who could be options...but are not the option I'm invested in currently.
What it has done is give me a feeling of abundance for sure. I just don't want the pool of options to stagnate.
So far the non starters have been:
The stepsister to one of my high school classmates and neighbors.
A high school class mate of my sister who is attractive but her family is a trainwreck. (hb7.5)
A petite blonde party girl (HB 8) with fake tits, who has a catty attitude towards other women and just an unattractive personality as a whole. Probably emotional issues there.
A tall but huskier than my taste paralegal.(HB6)
The last two sent me friend requests on FB that I have ignored so far. They were at the same event last week that I was and seemed to be competing for my attention.
If these were anonymous Tinder Hookups, I could certainly have a one nighter with that as an understanding. Since these women have connections to my friends, Doing a Pump-n-Dump would result in some collateral reputation damage. I have a pretty visible position in the community and I don't want to develop a reputation as a Womanizer either.
So questions Arise...
Best way to turn down a friend request for FB without offending? Especially when we have friends in common.
Best way to encourage friends to continue funneling options my way?
And the core of my real question...
In a city of 120,000 and with online options, what is the number of contacts with available people of the opposite sex, or time period that can be considered "Due Diligence" before committing to an LTR?
