I saw this trailer recently. Skip to 1:00.

In short, the guy has sex, and it's not very good. He then travels back in time, has sex with her again, and then it's great. This theme (minus time travel) is a pretty common gag in movies.
Anyway, it got me thinking about this phenomenon. First, the guy puts the girl on a pedestal. Then he finally, finally has sex with her, so he ends up not being so good (i.e., too fast and not thinking about her pleasure). The second time, he's been a little desensitized (he's already had sex with her before; she's no longer this mythical object), so he can last a little longer and focus more on her pleasure.
Now, the reverse. The girl is chasing the guy. The guy doesn't really care if he sleeps with her or not (there are plenty of other beautiful women). They have sex. She is putting him on a pedestal (what a man). He's desensitized (it's like the second time for him) and gives her much better sex than he would have if he was the chaser. If the girl cums fast, it's not big deal. She can cum again and again. This is probably why girls gravitate to bad boys that are aloof to their charm.
