Hey guys, Garrett here.
Not sure many of you can relate to this post, but I'll give it a go!
Out of curiosity, I decided to get my ears pierced back in March/April. I'm a big soccer fan, and my favourite player is Cristiano Ronaldo. For any of you who know him, you'll notice he wears earrings, among many other European and foreign players.
I've got black studded diamonds, the normal diamonds, and silver spherical looking ones. I can't say they've done much for my attraction, although I think they look good, especially when matched with what I'm wearing. Also, most guys don't have them, so it helps with peacocking/standing out in a way. Just like if you wear a bright looking shirt, a fedora, cool facial hair, etc. it definitely helps you to stand out!
Keep in mind, I'm only 19, so for anyone older than me I'd be grateful to hear your advice!
Anyways, I think it's a great mentality for guys to want to improve themselves, and if something is going to hinder your appearance, or take away from your masculinity, it may be wise to eliminate the 'hinderance'. I've googled girl's opinions on earrings, and have taken note of how girls react to me in person. Based on my conclusions, a few of the girls I've asked said they like it, although they could just be saying that. When I go on google; however, I'm finding that a lot of girls aren't into it. I did the same thing by googling stubble, and noticed a lot of girls saying, "I don't like when my boyfriend has stubble" so it's obvious they 'don't like it' because it makes the guy look MORE attractive . Anyways, for the more experienced guys on the boards who know more about earrings/piercings and their influence, in terms of peacocking, on attraction, masculinity, and respect, I'd be really interested to know more!
Cheers,
Garrett
