I need to remember never attempt a date if all I have is half an hour. This happened last week, but I just had the time now to post.
She was a keyboard player I met while beginning business with a band. She's three years younger than me, but she was being real flirty, so I arranged a date.
My issue was that I had planned too much in one day, and the SATs messed up my schedule. I was two hours late to the date, and knew I only had about half an hour. Normally, I would have rescheduled, but I had already flaked on her once and was feeling guilty.
Needless to say, she had already lost her flirty mood, torn off all her sexy clothing and was wearing sweats and a t-shirt. I went in anyway, because she seemed like she said she still wanted me over and I was feeling guilty. Despite breaking the touch barrier quickly, I was not able to get a decent conversation going, nor getting past cuddling within the thirty minutes. Didn't help that she had a boyfriend she had just finished crying over either.
Boneheaded attempt at my part, and I know I lost a big opportunity showing up two hours late on the first date.. I'm guessing I should just move on, replace, and not chase then huh?
