Guys, I have done almost 100+ approaches in my city's busiest spot (I usually frequented this spot because it has large foot traffic) which is near to my house. However, due to doing direct approaches, I am currently scared about getting a bad reputation (my city has a population of 500k). Should I start going indirect instead of direct to not get a bad reputation? The reason I am scared about my reputation is because I have again seen three girls that I have already approached on another day:-
- Saw her on street (she didn't see me). My past approach with her was very uncalibrated and bad.
- Saw her in the nightclub. She remembered my name but didn't think of me negatively
- Saw another one I just talked to (didn't close or make it man to woman) but she didn't see me.
Please lemme know your thoughts.
Don’t worry about it. That said, direct game isn’t a good way to measure progress unless you’re good looking. Indirect is better for learning. As long as you come off as a socially adjusted not weird guy then you’re fine. Worst case scenario people mention you and you seem like a super social guy who likes meeting strangers.
Hell, if you’re that worried you can qualify during your approach and say you like meeting new people.
So if they ever see you approach someone else or talk to someone else you approach, they already know you’re the kinda guy who walks up to strangers.
Id also have more than one opener you use regularly.
Having 2 girls you approached talk to one another has happened to me, it doesn’t matter, UNLESS you were making progress with one or both.
I’ve only had failed attempts or girls who wouldn’t meet up for a day2 meet each other. No loss there.
