Who do we nominate as our Skilled Seducer of February 2025?

Potential SSOTM criteria:
  • This member has posted a particularly impressive LR or multiple good LRs
  • This member has shared some great value-giving tactics, mindsets, or strategy posts
  • This member has been active in the community and contributed tons of value
  • Anything else where the member is adding lots of value, helping, inspiring, innovating, etc.
Our previous SSOTMs are here.

I've seen some guys on the Boards suggesting @Atlas IV, who posted this recently. I know @Karea Ricardus D. linked up with him last year and hung out with him a bit; he was telling me Atlas reminds him a lot of a younger version of himself.

Is it Atlas?

Other nominees?

Who's your pick to be our next SSOTM?

@Will_V has been dropping value in the forums for years without rest and just in general being an amazing guy.

If not in the month of February, I think he deserves some recognition.

I appreciate it but I don't think it's my place. I'm not very active this year - some changing priorities at least for the medium term. I also think it should go to guys who post LRs, which I've decided not to do.

The guys who have been selected lately are crushing it and evolving super fast, I think that's a better fit for the position, they can lead by example that way.

I usually don't vote but I just want to give my big up for this idea and the interviews with the winners. It gives me extra motivation to listen to stories of forum guys who I didn't initially see as top dogs, but who have skilled up to g levels through the community participation.

yep definitely Atlas. he's got some great reports, and his threads are always really self-reflective with methodical breakdowns of of his sticking points etc. so it would be pretty cool to hear you guys discuss his journey.

That's some warrior mentality right there, which I am myself personally desperatly lacking these days. I would love to hear/read from him in an interview.

@Atlas IV You should read up on comfort and frames, and how this affects LMR. That's your sticking point, which is solvable and not one that is annoying to fix either.

Wow, thanks Teevster!

Funny, I actually just listened to the GC podcast episode of you, Hector, Pablo and the gang talking about that crazy 4-day escapade in Stockholm. Absolutely cracked me up. And really interesting to hear the different insights between Hector with daygame and you guys with nightgame.

And Pablo's story about the mother and the dog is probably the funniest PUA story I've ever heard.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

I like this display of vulnerability.

Well, I would not call it vulnerability per se, more a fact. I doubt most of us will have the same drive after many years in this field. I guess my biggest issue is that I get more and more lazy with the years. I care less and less. And there is something odd - namely that I enjoy surprises - those pulls, those moments that are not purely out of my making, but more accidental. Something magical about it. Yeah something mysterious and exciting about so-called "foolsmate".

just to add a technicality-it seems like @Skippy beat atlas for the tournament. Though I'm fine punishing him for not posting the last update until after January ended bc it would let me laugh at him.

Did I ever claim you were coping? Maybe I did - I cannot remember. But yeah you are overall right.

Well, I have had periods like these. But I intend to move soon, so new adventures may spark up things again.

It has always been like that - I have peak periods and then more lazy periods. For instance, I have taken a somewhat longer break after hitting an insane streak during my last months in Paris.

I think it is healthy to just take a bit of a "field detox" - a break and just head out occasionally. Also the field where I am right now is not very interesting - I am back in my hometown, so it is a bit like replaying a game that I have have already completed.

And no offence my friend, I may get older, but I am still in my early 30s ;)

I still have a few more rodeos in me - at least I hope so.
