I find myself being unable to approach out of pessimism. I've had a run of bad luck and it's affecting my confidence. I know you get more no's than until that yes, but I need some tips to keep my confidence up in the thin times.

The same as you do when you run out of motivation in any other endeavour. Set clear goals, create a routine, track progress, and improve incrementally.

I think it’s really just a matter of your perspective. Your Ls keep feeding into a negative loop because you are the one interpreting them as a loss. Instead, try and find a way to frame them as a win in your mind so you can benefit from the winner effect.

I’m a beginner as well. In my approaches I’ve faced a lot of awkwardness and rejections, but I still come out of them feeling slightly better.

Every time I strike out on an approach, I do a fist pump and congratulate myself. Every time you put yourself out there, you’re one step closer to your goals. A lot of guys are pussies, and wont even take that courageous step and would rather sit at home and jack off.

Its a W to even be out there on the field.
