Been looking for awhile, and while I've had great ones.. I never really clicked with one. This guy used to study for architecture , but fell into the hair styling world and loves it. I think he used to be a playboy in the past too, and talks to me about where he's traveled around the world (and the women there). Even has been offering me connections he has (and trying to hook me up with his female employees).. Chase was right, treat your stylist well like you would a family member or girlfriend, and hold out.

Second time I've been so far.

I tried to show him a video of what I wanted but he kept getting distracted by the women in it hah.

Cool cut there, Eric. I used to have a similar "bed-head" style look, but with about a "medium" length.

What product is your stylist having you use? It looks like it has pretty solid hold with a matte, dry-looking finish.

Textbook definition of edgy right there. This is a hairstyle I'm trying to emulate, mostly based off Robert Pattinson's messy, bed-head, effortless style. My hair grows like weeds and I hate getting haircuts all the time because I simply don't care for the time and money that it sucks up, and I don't care for spending a lot of time in the morning on my hair. My hair isn't quite the length that I want it at, but it should be there soon and I am looking forward to the results.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

Something similar to that, but I think a bit less strong. Same brand though, it's from japan.

Bed head manipulator is awesome too, but isn't as strong. It's amazing for not so thick hair (which is why I have thinning shears), and smells uuuhmazing.

We also had a discussion about how to get the best looking hair, and we agreed that often times it's just simply sleeping on it. Something about the natural oils from your hair making it great, as well as the jostling from sleeping on it. The best way I've found to emulate it is to dry your hair so it's 50% damp, but not dripping water. Then put some of the glue/paste on your hand and rub, and then work it through your hair. You can then either rub your hair with your palms in a circular motion and that will give it that look, or grab a towel and start using it to pull the hair forward / mess it up.

Hah, thanks. The first pic is me joking around and being a dork though. Grab a pair of thinning shears and have your stylist teach you how to use them (often they'll tell you to twirl the hair up and then cut down near the root). Also, when your hair is less thick it takes less to style, so you can just plop on some glue and mess up your hair.

Nice find, Eric! I've actually been looking for new styling products as I'm not currently satisfied with the last few that I've used. The one I have recently been using has great hold and a nice finish, but it also smells very "waxy" (aka, not sexy). One of my co-workers (who had nicely-styled hair) was telling me last week about the stuff his stylist had recommended him. I just bought some from an Aveda salon this week, so I'm going to try it out over the next month or two. I'll let you guys know how it is.

Here's the link if you want to check it out:
