First she sets the date, then BEFORE the date she sais she's got a BF.

Hello everyone!

This topic has been discussed a lot, however this situation here is quite exotic.

So, first this girl asked me for my facebook, I added her a few days later. Then maybe a week later I sent her a message to meet. She said that she has time next week - cool. I said "ok, lets meet on X afternoon and btw how was the weekend?" She replied "yes, cool lets meet next week" and she also said that she did something with her boyfriend during the weekend :O

So.. the question is.. 1st SHE asks me for my contact, she accepts to meet and BEFORE the date she tells me she has a BF??? I mean wtf is going on here?..
Usually this "information" come when you meet, so before you set something up or DURING the date, but not "in the middle" of the process of setting up the date!.. Do you know what I mean?

Now the way I see it the rationale from her is like " I want to see you but be advised, don't hit on me" Am I correct here?

If yes, then I have two options: still meet her, be cocky, etc like she never said anything about her BF, be with her for like 1 hour then leave and text her ones every 3 months - just to check in. Until she breaks up with him, so then I will have my chance. So a passive fire and forget minimum effort long-term investment. Plus I will always have a possible access to her girlfriends.

Option two: I didn't mention anything about my surprise with the BF situation obviously and kept setting up the date. Should I just cancel the day before and don't waste my f time here?..

I think she is viewing you more as a friend. Dont know the details of you two meeting but thats the vibe I get.

Consider what you want out of her and what would you settle in. Banging her might be out the window atm as she has a bf so your long term strategy sounds totally fine. Other option would be to just be friends with her if she is cool. Definetely gets you introduced to all her single friends if you are sexy. Think you already figured this yourself.

You know, I'm a pretty proud guy and a f hate to be in the chasing\friend position!

But I should take this as a chance to at least get to know her friends (and her too!) It just really hurts my pride to meet a girl that already told me she is not really interested, you know what I mean?..
