Hey guys, been a longtime lurker, feel like I made my self develop to a moderate intermediate through some blood, sweat, and tears, now want to reach my full potential after some slip ups. Feel free to comment. Cheers.

Background:

So this young lady is a freshman at my school. I have seen her around a few times, and she always smiled and said hi. She is fairly attractive, light brown eyes, of middle eastern descent, long luscious black hair, nice thick lips, you get the drill. Anyway, I see her one day and decide to just see how things would play out. As I am leaving a Building I open:

Me: Hey, what's your name?
Her: (freshman) said with some slight enthusiasm
Me: Blank stare b/c did not hear her
Her: Fresh- man, begins to spell name out
Me: Oh, freshman!, got it, nice to meet you
Her: Nice to meet you too

So ends this encounter because this occurred while we were both heading in opposite directions, but alas we know each other formally.

Today:

I am walking my way towards class, and I always have my music on because I like to be in my zone. I pass this person ( note it is cold as hell outside, I think the high was -10 today) who is all bundled up. The person seems to be looking at me, and trying to get my attention, after a little inspection as I am walking, I noticed this person was talking to me, and that it was her. I turn off my music, and we match up, walking stride for stride, convo went like this.

Her: hey!
Me: Hey, I couldn't hear you, man its cold outside!
Her: yeah I know, right! I can't wait to leave this place.

Can't really remember specifics after this but at some point, I go in for more:

Me: so, got a boyfriend?
Her: (laugh) noo... too busy for boys
Me: too busy huh?, so if I asked you to dinner, what would you say?
Her: (flirtatious laugh) maybe
Me: maybe? ( smirk on face). There is no maybe, it's a yes or no question. When are you free?
Her: Well I am going home this weekend, but should be free the sunday after this one.
Me: okay then, so in a week
Her: yeah
Me: (before responding) lets cross the street here ( getting some compliance). Okay so in a week, do you have a phone, what's your number?
Her: Yeah! Gives me number, and spells name.

Conversation continues and she tells me about her family, where she's from originally, what she wants to study, and then we split paths. I text her

" Hey Freshman, R4L here, it was nice chatting with you:)"

No response, but eh, still a good day. Only approach though, really wanted to get another few in there,( no excuses here). Tomorrow is another day.

Comments, suggestions. Thanks all.

Definitely should have continued the interaction with her when you first met. Lucky she opened you back up (showed that your fundamentals were tight in the initial interaction), but you never want to assume you'll see her again...unless you see her very often (which you said you did), but still, should pounce on opportunities when they come.

I really think she'll eventually respond. Only reason she wouldn't would be your attainability is too high.

i agree with the post above, from experience i am terrible for letting girls go and never seeing them again, it might be the hardest thing you have to do to keep the interactions going.

In one of the posts, Chase actually talks about how you should always go for the lay no matter what especially as a beginner and thats what im working on now. Always try to go for the lay while you have her with you and pull faster is my advice.
