Casual/FWB Friends with benefits?

So I was talking with a friend of mine last night, and we were talking about life and stuff when the topic of sex came up. We both go to a very conservative Christian college, so it's difficult to judge who is open to what when it comes to sex. Anyways, she was talking about how she's got a FB relationship back home, but she's abstinent here because she can't find anyone who would be interested in a FWB/FB relationship. She has some issues that make it difficult for her to form emotional attachments when sex is involved, but she enjoys hooking up. Neither one of us have any romantic attachment to each other (we talk about relationship stuff, the people we like, etc., but neither one of us wants a relationship), so I asked her if she would be interested in a FWB relationship. She said yes, but unfortunately I was feeling under the weather, so she didn't want to do anything that night. We're planning to hook-up on Thursday because there's open dorms that day which makes logistics easier. Anyways, what do you guys think? Is this doomed for failure, or is this something that could be really awesome?

I should probably clarify that I primarily want experience, as I am still a virgin and lack of experience in bed has really messed up my confidence when it comes to closing.

What happened with this one? My suggestion would be go for it, absolutely - you need the experience, and you'll feel a LOT more confident escalating things with girls once you've got some sexual experience under your belt.

It sounds like this girl was fishing for it, and it sounds like you were curious to try it - did you get this going on?
