I know this is a minor issue, but do you think you could add a link to the forums from the homepage? Two of my friends had difficulty finding the forums because there was no link there. It's not that big of a deal, but I'm sure they aren't the only ones who have had that issue. It's an easy fix and it would help people find the forums more easily.

If you go to https://www.girlschase.com/, there is no direct link to the forums. You have to go to the blog and THEN click on discussion. Like I said, it's not that its a huge deal, but rather that it's an easy fix to make the forums more visible.

IT is to make customers view the blog before they click the exit button. IT's a somewhat marketing/sales kind of thing i assumed.

Hey Enigma,

I'll point Chase here so that he can acknowledge your concern. As Zac mentioned, it might be part of the marketing strategy. The forum will be free, so it's something that should be used to help clarify what's on the subscription-based blogs (and not the other way around).

@ TE,

Link is now up, at the bottom of the homepage; it reads "Join the discussion."

@ Zac / Franco

Good thinking about what I'm thinking, although it was actually more oversight than it was part of the master plan ;) The homepage hasn't been touched in months, since before the boards premiered. That's fixed now.

The homepage will change anyway with everything else when the new site design premieres. The plan right now is to have a newspaper-style homepage like CNN or the New York Times, and there'll most likely be a link to the boards in the top navigation bar for easy access. The idea is to get people focused on reading content, rather than buying programs. Subscriptions will happen naturally if people get value out of the content and want to keep reading.
