Fun Trick for Taller Guys

The trick is simple: when around other guys that are shorter than you, tell girls you are 2 or 3 inches SHORTER than you actually are.

For instance, I am about 6'3", and on top of this often wear chelsea/cowboy/Timberland boots. So I am generally the tallest guy in a group I am in. Yet when height is brought up, I tell girls I am 6'.

This does several things:
- Makes anyone who is visibly shorter than me yet already claimed to be over 6' look like an insecure liar
- If any of the guys try to prove you are actually taller than you claim (and they often vehemently do), they look tryhard and you look humble
- Even if a guy didn't claim he is over 6', I can nonchalantly tease him that he is shorter than whatever he claimed and then stand next to him and let the girls guess his "real" height (so if he is 5'10" and you are 6'2", a girl that thinks you are 6' sees much more than a 2 inch difference and concludes he's more like 5'8")
- Sexy guys exempted, a lot of girls have varying levels of disgust towards men under a certain height, depending on the girl. For example, my sister often makes fun of guys under 5'6". A taller fling of mine would make fun of guys under 6". So you are effectively removing your competition from the running with the right girl, even if they aren't actually that short

The trick even works on taller guys too. If I claim to be 6' after another guy claimed he is 6'4", and we are clearly about the same height, he looks like a poser, which is magnified by the fact he is tall (one could understand why a short guy would be insecure about his height, but its just sad if a taller guy is insecure about it!).

;)

Guys shorter that 6' 3.
How would you respond in this situation?

I will be like
"Huh are we in Junior high comparing heights?"

I LOL'ed at this technique.

Not tall enough to use it myself, but it's a funny troll nevertheless.

This feels a bit like when you're out, very well dressed, clearly with some money, and the men around you are all talking up their big money jobs. She asks what you do and you respond with a half grin and, "Oh, I'm broke. Yeah, I'm unemployed. Just being a vagabond. Frittering away the last of my savings."

Obviously the counter for the height one if anyone tried it with you would be, "You got me. Actually I'm four feet. Just got off dwarf duty at the circus."

But I doubt any guy who's talking up his height to women is going to be of ready mind to counter a troll like this.

This is unn3cesary and girl may interpret as bragging... brsgging is not attractive...

This seems more like a tease than anything to me.

He is pulling the girl's leg... she probably knows he's not 6' (most girls seem to have a pretty good sense of right about how tall 6' is)... but it is also trolling all the men around him too, especially if they're the self-conscious "show off my value!" types.

I made fun of girl's height and their boyfriends/past boyfriends' height because I had some really good jokes, but I don't really care about that or something. It was purely for my enjoynment and the jokes were too good not to be told.

So I'm a 5'10, dated girls with 1-2cm taller than me, tried to pick up girls who were over 6'1.

Also, saw girls who are saying "yeah, I want my my bf to be over 6'". The same girls are respecting me much more than the guys over 6'0 who don't know how to be masculine.

Lived enough to see that height isn't so important, at least not that important as Frame Control.

If I would knew about HGH at 18, yeah, I would try it.

Don't wanna sound harsh, but your post came across as putting others down. I don't see this as the objective of the forum. If it's something that I do, is to lift others up. Builds much more social frame. If someone would try something about height on me, I would be disgusted at first, until you show me you have others skills as well. Because height is something that you can't change. At least not without some sacrifice(bones surgery, etc). It's not skill based. I don't take credit for the things I was born with. Sure, I m very happy thankful for them (better facial structure/almost perfect teeth/etc) but I don't see them as something to talk about.

No joy in a battle won from the start.

I am tall and still dont like it cause you have to bring it up and has the my watch is a rolex effect, the only way i could see this working as trolling is if she asks how tall are you... the one i use is squating as i am walking to match girls height and say would like me this tall, and they go noooo in disgust...

Haha, I'm gonna use this, and maybe even riff on variations of it.

The tactic works not because of my height but because the guys I try to use it on are insecure about their height. Insecurities are within someone's ability to control, and it is all light-hearted anyway. If I misread the guy and he responds similar to the counter @Chase listed, good on him! All the more joy going up against someone who is truly confident and knows their stuff.

I would not use this tactic if someone is vastly shorter than myself, that'd be overkill and cruel.

The tactic is like he said not cool cause you are putting others down insecure or not, i don't get it... Again you can self depricate if she ask you your height for this technique otherwise is silly... also you are indirectly bragging, and putting others down is a display of lower value...

You're not putting anyone down doing this. You're merely giving an underestimate of your height, and how other guys respond is on them. You only (lightly) tease them if they commit the faux pas of trying very hard to insist they are a certain height.

Yes, ideally you're not the one to bring up height. I've had the best success with this troll when other guys are already talking about their height.

Ok then we are in agreement, i thought you brought it up... and yeah this is a sample i made in my how to properly use humor in seduction when it comes to self deprecation in my video

I've just never encountered this sort of scenario out there in this great big world to be able to imagine when the technique would be practically applied. Are there scenes where guys are sitting around bragging about their height while women are hanging out observing the whole thing. Height rarely seems to come up at all in convo and when it does it has never been a group endeavor (in my experience, at least). It seems like it can be a funny lighthearted sort of troll though, and that the underlying principle can be applied to many forms. Like Chase outlined with the whole "oh you know me, just a destitute vagabond" kind of scenario.

I use this all the time. I'm obviously really tall, and i get this question asked all the time. So i always say im 5'11. Sometimes if I really want to bs i go with 5'9. For reference, im 6'5 now.

I never sensed that there was any sign the girl thought i was insecure or offending others, what would normally happen is, I'd sit there with a poker face looking right at her as she plays with the frame.

I rarely admit my real height unless the girl is obsessed with it, but usually its an easy opportunity to:

* further hook her in(the question usually comes earlier on)
*increase sexual tension. (I get to look at her with my poker face with a good excuse)
*emotional stimulation as the girl is obviously not going to believe me and want to call my bluff(and she'll know im fucking with her and not taking her question seriously).

Overall, really good progress and investment from a two word responce to
"omg you're so tall, how tall are you?"

Also i think sidestepping the boring questions like this makes it easier to frame yourself as a lover and makes you slightly more mysterious as you even downplay a commonly attractive trait.

Edit: overall solid strat and btw, i never bring this up unless im asked, that should be obvious(needy and against the meta frame)

The op just did not word right, though he edited and fix it a bit..

The scenario is when a girl is asking about height or people are talking about height.... he just self deprecate from a high status point again, and make it ridiculous, i do this a lot, so most seducers, for example a doctor gets ask what he does for living answers certified dish washer etc... i explain the why it works with sample in minute 43:22 of the video with enrique iglesias self deprecating from high status point:

I started to agree with Skills when I first read this…. Seemed like an underhanded way to cut another guy down for no reason. I’m 6’2 but when girls ask my height I just tell them I haven’t checked in a while.

To tell them i’m 6’0 casually just so other guy’s seem drastically shorter in comparison seems unnecessary.

But I see now that this is just all in good fun and not actually meant to psyop other guys out the running by making girls think they lied about their height.

I'm 6'4, women ask me all the time. I can see this being a cute and stimulating answer. Same as when asked how old you are (I only nightgame) and say 18.

I find if a woman asks how tall you are it means she is slightly into you and that she likes tall guys.

Her: how tall are you
Me:6'4
Me: why do tall men turn you on so much?

I've been trying to cut out the jokey jokey stuff in my game. With good results.

In addition I think joke game is going out of style. With men trying to please women at all times you don't stand out trying to make her laugh.

The other weekend I had a quick interaction with a girl then ran into shortly after, tried to run some callback humor and she looked me dead in the eyes and said "I'm not attracted to guys that try to joke with me". I instantly dropped all jokes and went super aggressive and semi arrogant. She was eating it up.

I don't like the jokey stuff either. When i lie about my height i keep a straight face and hold frame(despite how its an obvious lie)

Killer eye contact and still body language...

This will spike tension easily.

Edit: Sometimes you get girls that do the tension thing back, and try to see if you crack first. This is the best possible outcome.

causation correlation, you are using humor as "trying to impress" that is the wrong application of humor....... how tall are you? you answer and say why do you tall men turn you on so much, is the wrong application of a joke, the "why do you like so much about ______" is to be used to answer shit tests from david d, asking about your height is not a shit test...
