Getting an ex back

Hey all,

Today I just started talking to one of my ex's again and I could tell she is still way into me. My main question is what should my general approach here be because I feel as if it's more complicated than meeting someone for the first time? For instance I want to text her later tonight but I'm unsure if that's a good idea

We can't really help without your knowledge of the situation... did you break up with her or did she break up with you? why did you break up? How long and serious was the relationship? etc.

Exes are exes for a reason, it's usually best to avoid rekindling things.

We were apart for winter break (we go to college together) and we simultaneously ended things. It was a quick to start, quick to end type of relationship

Also she is a "closet party girl" if that makes sense. She likes to party and has problems keeping a boyfriend if that helps at all

Chase recent article "How to Get a Girlfriend Back" helps. Anyway, if you both ended things and she is the party type, i think hooking up again should not be a problem. I see party girls on and off quite frequent.
