Just last year, I was in a difficult situation.
I was in debt in a sense that my bills were rack up way beyond my money come in.
Court send me a letter to settle it but I eventually able to settle it. Just nov last year, I paid all of it.
And they even refunded me with a cheque the extras.
Now, the key of every court order is making sure the company gets their money back. And if they can't get their money back, you have a black mark on your record.
Most companies are able to let you refinance the deal you are currently in.
Why? Because just like law of nature, sustainability.
While there is law of survival of the fittest, there is also law of cooperation (Gregg Braden).
Ok, sidetracking here.
Always request to refinance before shit goes to hell. The key here is that companies want their money back.
Now that I run my own company, I rather want my money back by one way or another. The mindset is same.
Don't let it go to court. Usually it won't. Because you will not have anything anyway. But yes.
Always request to structure a deal that benefits them by paying slightly more as sweetener.
