Girls with casual flings; single or not?

Howdy folks. So, I'm faced with a situation that I'm not all that familiar with and was hoping some of you guys could share your opinions.

Namely, someone who is a sexually liberated girl who has casual relationships/flings - the sort that's basically a relationship, but going to end at a certain point. Do you treat mentions of said 'flings' like a mention of a boyfriend? Do you show interest/escalate anyway?

To be clear; the girl I'm talking about is someone I have about 0.0001% chance of sleeping with - I probably couldn't have asexually friend-zoned myself faster if I'd met her wearing a monk's robes and carrying a cross (though, she does keep offering me a place to stay when I visit her university in the coming months. I'm assuming she's just friendly) - but the situation got me thinking, so for future reference; how do you guys respond to mentions of casual, current partners?

Generally, the earlier in a casual relationship you can break in the better because, at some point (if he's good), she'll start to develop feelings for the dude.

I'm not too experienced with sexually liberated types, so I can't have a real guess with that. Guessing though she still tries to reel him into a relationship, if not at after a more prolonged period of casual relations than a normal gal would.

Anyway, to answer your question, I'd treat the gal as single. The relationship is still not official for whatever reason, so she's still on the market.
