After browsing what other PUA forums have to offer I just have to say that Chase is building something special here. While the other forums have a mostly toxic atmosphere, GC is filled with uplifting and positive reinforcement.

I have only been visiting this site for a little over a month after having a year that consisted of getting laid off twice, breaking off an engagement (10 days before the wedding) and a bout with depression. After reading numerous blogs I have already built my confidence higher than its ever been and got a new job.

Really what I'm trying to say is thank you Chase and members for this awesome community.

Props on the new job, Kinny. Wonderful to hear you've rebuilt yourself a head of steam after a couple of hard knocks. Those are the kinds of things that sting when they happen, but they teach you lessons and place you on courses in life you probably never would've discovered had things simply rolled smoothly along without a hitch.

Really, I'm heartened by how quickly the boards have taken off here, and I'm actually pretty thrilled at the culture we already have.

I don't know if the gradual roll-out process can be credited for this, or, it may just be that the kinds of guys who are attracted to this site are the hard improvement-minded folks, and the guys who don't want to be continually reading stuff about how to get better and prefer instead to just vent about how hard they have it find it much more comfortable going somewhere else.

Whatever the cause, things here are going pretty great, and everyone who's been contributing on here has absolutely been a part of making this place into the place it is.

Happy New Year, everyone. 2013 looks to be an excellent year.
