Grumpy old men

Im finding recently that I'm getting a lot of comments from women on being serious, grumpy, stern, and although I don't really have any problems per se I think maybe I need to probably tone it down a little (or maybe I don't?).

What are people's thoughts on being the cool, aloof, strong, silent (ish) type? Also I tend to save my flirting for those ppl I like these days, so maybe it's just that I'm shutting ppl out that maybe I shouldn't aka being too selective?

Hmm see I'm not sure... Like I said its not like it's a big issue I just feel that maybe im cutting people off without reason other than they don't meet my requirements. It's not that I can't be warm and personable it's that I don't want to be.
