indeed though she did social media post as being boyfriend and girlfriend. though about a week earlier she mentioned her friend(aka not boyfriend) is meeting up in the summer

I don't recommend you throwing the ball in her court as she would simply pick the ball and will not response to it. There's where you have point of no return.
I tried that a lot time in the past and the ball is still there and not returned.

I recommend you reading up more dating books. I am slowly reading up and picking up bits and pieces to modify it to suit my culture.
