Hello, I'm Mitch. I am I highschool student turned student of the game. I'm fairly new and inexperienced still but am really working at developing my nonverbals and other fundamentals. What's the best way to really work on your game in highschool? I'm new to the school still so there are plenty of girls that I don't know and I'm willing to go up to a random girl in the school, I just need some guidance about how to do it. I appreciate any help I get.

Best of luck, Mitch

Talking and Body Language

Hey Mitch,

Welcome to the boards! There are way too many fundamentals, so I'll just cover two I consider highly important to work on this very second.

Body Language, your non verbals such as your eyes, posture, and the faces you make.

and

Talking, this includes, opening, closing, how much you should talk, and not letting the interaction go stale/boring.

Body Language:

You never want to walk up to a girl with your head looking down at the ground. Instead walk with your head parallel to the ground with you shoulders back. This will give you a confident look as you walk around, people will notice. However, don't over do it, like bending your back to far back. The idea is to have your back straight. This also covers walking, you can either go for the John Wayne (cowboy walk) or a Male Model runway walk. Both work very well, find the one you like the best.

Now, you never want to stare intensely at a girl maintain a little eye contact but glance away from time to time. This way you don't come off as creepy or weird. Another thing to is listen, use head nod instead of frequently saying (uh huh, gotcha, okay). You want to use though only a little this way she knows your listening.

Talking: Use deep diving and ask interesting questions

You: What do you like to do for fun?
Girl: I really like to go dancing.
You: That's cool, what kind of music do you like to dance to?
Girl: Pop and club music..etc..

You get the idea, the point is to focus the conversation on her and get to know her. You want to take the mysterious, cool, and sexy kid approach. You also never want the conversation to go on for too long, so you want to close it.
You: Hey, I got to get going to my next class. Take care

You always want to be the first to end interactions. There are tons of things about fundamentals but this should get you started. Anyone feel free to add input to my comment.

I would only add that the Newbie Assignment in the "New? Start Here" thread may give you an idea of how to go about it. Some parts of it echo what dave said; I had no real idea what i'd say on an approach, but after reading that I actually feel more, for lack of a better word, enlightened.

Howdy Mitch, good question.

There's 2 ways to go about high school game. Both require the basic fundamentals and conversational skills like Dave mentioned, but they're two very different types of game.
You can either go the normal pick-up route, or the social circle route. If you plan on going SC, then you should definitely read Chase's article: https://www.girlschase.com/content/cute-girls-class-stop-flirting-and-start-dating

The other is just going about it like you would to any other girl on the street, at the mall, or wherever you prefer.

It's best to do this as early as possible though, because as a high school student myself, I understand that after a certain point, maybe 2-3 months into the school year or earlier, if you're not friends with, known to, or talking to someone, you probably won't be for the rest of the year. High school has a very clique-y effect, and breaking it can be challenging, especially with people and women you don't know.
