Hi all!
so i have (tentatively) a short, day time coffee date with an older woman that i met on the train about a week ago.
I talked to her and i got her number, i told her she was a lovely woman and i would love to get to know her more over coffee (so i tried to frame it non-platonic)
Now, next day when i texted her she gave me an objection over the langauge barrier (german is her native language, but i understood her just fine when she spoke english, she had slight difficulty understanding my english, but i will take care to use basic english next time i meet her to make sure she understands me)
she said she did not speak english that well and needed a translator to write properly. I replied by saying that it was fine for me to write to her in German on Whatsapp, and that i understood her in english when we talked in person. I tried to build comfort by saying that understanding each other is what really counts.
i even made a cheeky remark that; it would be a shame for me not to get to know a confident and lovely lady like her just because of language. and that the language barrier does not have to stand between us
I also assured her that i was learning german.
It worked as she then she asked me out to coffee.
Now, we will have coffee and we will be together for around 1 hour on monday afternoon, if this date goes through.
She lives in a nearby city (and its very easy to travel to other cities by train here) and is coming here for some work, so she decided to come earlier
My only question is, how can make a good impression on this woman during a short date?
More specifically, how can i build attraction with this woman during that time - how can i make sure that she wants to see me again after the coffee?
I must make it clear that i don't want to escalate with her in this short time.
I am really into older women (it makes me super excited), so how can i make sure to get her hooked for a second date?
I will try to flirt with her and keep it as non-platonic as i can. However, i want to make sure i do it right with this woman, as i really do want to see her again (and for a longer time this time)
so any guidance or advice is greatly appreciated!
