How do i get beter at texting?

Hi, I'm creating this thread in hopes of receiving some useful information regarding texting, more specifically, Instagram texting.

I'm in my mid-20s, and I've been told that my greatest weakness is my texting skill. Getting a girl's IG is usually not a problem for me, but then comes the hard part of reeling her in with smooth texting. I don't know if it's because I lose interest when the girl is not right in front of me, or if I'm just a bad texter, but things usually cool down after a few days. After that, I stop texting just to see if she initiates some conversation by herself. It doesn't have to be a lot, just a simple meme would do, but that rarely happens. At this point, I usually lose hope and start thinking about my next night out. What should I do? I've thought about using AI to enhance my game but haven't really tried it yet. Also, I don't really know if it is even good at smooth talk.

Any tips on keeping them interested until the next date are appreciated.

Hector's book on texting is good too to get the nuances of texting and spot what you're doing wrong.

Honestly if you start from absolute zero (like I did), just use the texts from the "14 simple ways to text a girl and make her want you" article from Chase and ONLY those. It's not optimal, you will lose some leads who don't appreciate the "text for logistics" approach, but as a beginner it will be 10 000% better than whatever you would've cooked on your own. You should not improvise, skip steps, try things, or do anything that is not in the article. Just use the method and understand from experience why it works

Once you got 20 dates with this method (it will happen fast), slowly start to experiment with soft close -> hard close, more banter, pings, witty messages etc depending on the situation... But not before

One tip I could give you is to get better at writing in general that will have effects on your text game as well. Since with good writing you learn tk express yourself with more precision, clarity and less effort.

Getting a girl's IG is usually not a problem for me

The problem is that a lot of girls will give you her IG just to get followers, they love having orbiters.
You have to discipline yourself and only get her IG as a means of setting up a date, once she agrees with one (at least with a soft close).
So basically treat IG as her phone number, for the girls that rather give you their IG (I still rather get their WhatsApp or whatever, but if they really insist I'll go with the IG).

You can get her IG and follow her for research purposes, like if you really don't know what the girls you are into do during the weekend, what types of venues they go to, that type of stuff, this info can be valueable, and who knows, maybe they will go out with you eventually, after a lot of texting, but in general is just a waste of time. If you really wanna go out afterwards, make her agree with you on a date before getting her contact.

As for the texting itself, if you really wanna improve, Hector's book is really top notch, though it's quite the read. There used to be a texting guide ebook by Chase that was pretty decent (it was free for a while, but if you're paying for something, get Hec's book), there's also the articles on the site, that are pretty much the same info from that guide, but spread on lots of more specific articles.

First of all, I have been noticing it by myself quite a lot. A girl is interested in me when we meet. Then the texting is as dry as the desert, and when we meet again, she is suddenly into me again.

But the real feedback came from a couple of girlfriends whose friends I tried to get with.
Of course, they didn't tell me this on their own. But one day, we were at a house party (not a crazy one), just some drinks and conversation. Suddenly, they asked me why I don't have a girlfriend. Well it wasn't an unusual question since we were having some juicy relationship conversations. However, I started talking and when I mentioned that texting might not be my strong suit, they looked at each other, said yes, we know, and started giggling.

Make a journal and post your texting.... Go on my archives and review my posts on texting and samples

Try to hit up random women on social media or chat room websites and try to get them to do something that would require attraction. Instead of practicing with the girls you are seeing, this is a much better way.
