I just returned from a date and it was very painful to endure. I felt sorry for both of us but at the same time I felt I could've reduced the suffering (lol) if I had cut short the date.
She was a polish chic who approached me when I was sitting at the square a couple of days ago. I was looking at my phone and I sensed that someone was looking at me and when I looked up, I saw her walking and looking at me and as I looked up, she smiled and I smiled back. She slowed down after I smiled. I patted the seat next to me gesturing her to come sit. She sat and started talking and she did 90% of the talking. She wasn't really that bad when I met her.. blue eyed blonde but I failed to notice her "fatness" underneath her oversized jacket and trousers. She had a cute face and was very funny. I took her number and did my standard texting. It was not hard to get her out since she was super invested. It was unusual since it's rare I've met someone so invested.
When I met her today she was wearing yoga pants and tank top. It was easy to notice she was fat.. not chubby but just extra fat in the wrong places and right away I wasn't attracted. Funny that I read chase's recent article on fat girls just before the date and it kind of lingered in my mind throughout the date.
On one hand I wanted to see how this'll turn out cos she was investing 90% and I was just being "present". I also wanted to see if I can lay with zero game. However, I couldn't do it after say 30 mins and I totally was looking for an escape to end the date and totally lost interest and wasn't listening to whatever she was saying but at the same time I was feeling sorry for her. So, I thought I'll just practice and thought of delivering a sex talk gambit.
Anyway, I mechanically delivered "good lover" gambit and that was it. She called it out and said "you're trying to pretend someone you're not". That was just a gist but she actually rambled a lot. Although I tried to justify the gambit, I knew there's no reason to do so. So I bowed down and said let's leave. On one hand I was annoyed at her entitlement but on the other hand I was glad that it was ending. Overall I felt sorry for her, in fact both of us.
I don't do online game and I've heard it's common for this to happen in online dating.
I'm generally very empathetic and kind to people but I can't do anything that doesn't feel good. Anyway, what do you guys (doing online game) normally do when you end up in a situation like this? How do you escape smoothly without hurting her feelings?
