How Gym Fucked Up My Dating Life

I heard and read it a few times that many suggest going to the gym in order to amp up your self-esteem and become more successful with girls.

I agree that it boosts your self-esteem and you get more comfortable with your body. But what I realized is that I started to compare myself with other dudes, their arms with my arms etc. Also when I went out, I felt kind of more afraid to make approaches and was hiding behind my "ego" of the "muscular - Im too good to do risky things - guy". My I don't give a shit mentally somehow faded and I started to worry about things that really don't matter, especially in game (like paying attention to keep my protein levels high, otherwise I would lose muscles etc.).

I more or less turned into a "pussy" who gave a shit without even realizing it. All the energy I could have been using to go out and learn more about pick-up I was investing in the gym (3-4 times a week). So now I stopped, and after a few days, the pick up mindsets and "not giving a shit" mentality came back.

I now visit the gym 1-2 times (and sometimes even 3 times) a week but more for fucking around with people to keep the weekend momentum instead of intensively work out my chest to look shredded for the weekend and slowly turn into a pussy

Ohh, it sounds pretty sad. Hope you will overcome this period. I think that balance is the main. I never had such trouble with the gym, cause the gym for me is like a relief. A boost of testosterone is also added. Have a story about when I picked up a girl after my training. But the main feature of a gym is the focus. I really became more focused on things which I am doing and concentration is easier.

One of the most ridiculous post and total cope.... a gym takes 45 minutes to sn hour max....

Dude if you're getting sad comparing yourself to other guys that's your mindset not the gym. When I go it's a meditation of pain, I don't sit there and stare at anyone, I don't get on my phone, I don't dress up in gym stuff and try to compete with other dudes, I just work non stop, only pause to catch my breath, and when I'm finished I'm gone. 40 minutes and done.

Not everyone goes there to worry about how they look, I go to find out what I can do, and I leave with satisfaction. Why don't you try the same?
