I heard and read it a few times that many suggest going to the gym in order to amp up your self-esteem and become more successful with girls.
I agree that it boosts your self-esteem and you get more comfortable with your body. But what I realized is that I started to compare myself with other dudes, their arms with my arms etc. Also when I went out, I felt kind of more afraid to make approaches and was hiding behind my "ego" of the "muscular - Im too good to do risky things - guy". My I don't give a shit mentally somehow faded and I started to worry about things that really don't matter, especially in game (like paying attention to keep my protein levels high, otherwise I would lose muscles etc.).
I more or less turned into a "pussy" who gave a shit without even realizing it. All the energy I could have been using to go out and learn more about pick-up I was investing in the gym (3-4 times a week). So now I stopped, and after a few days, the pick up mindsets and "not giving a shit" mentality came back.
I now visit the gym 1-2 times (and sometimes even 3 times) a week but more for fucking around with people to keep the weekend momentum instead of intensively work out my chest to look shredded for the weekend and slowly turn into a pussy
