Well, it went something like she texted me: you are 32 years old and I'm 18, it's not going to be a date, it's just going to be a walk in the park.
I replied with a voice message: yeah whatever you want to call it
then she sent me the Instagram real where girl warned about pickup artists in my city. I answered: well I used to do that 10 years ago, when I was about your age, now I'm just concentrated on work but I still have skills.
She then texted me: oh it must be nice to have an 18 year old who you can mold to your liking.
Which I saw as an opportunity to remove her objections, I kept talking in a friendly mode but she either responded with one word answers like "cringe..".
I said I usually date 20 to 25-year-olds so I will see how this will go, she responded what makes you so sure that I will even go on a date. After that she basically only gave me one word passive aggressive responses, my self-respect kicked in and I just stopped talking to her.
So initially I thought this is an opportunity to open her up but then it felt like a spoiled child that was not taught respect being bored. Probably even sending my responses to her 18 year old friends to laugh at, you get the idea.
I'm just widening my horizons right now and I want to know where is that line between her teasing and having no respect
