Dear all,

I want to ask you how really playing video games influence man’s training and performance in pick up and seduction as well as on his attractive traits…

There are a lot of converses when it comes to playing video games in adults.

Here is about myself: I am 30 years old. Do some well-paid but hard and stressful job. In free time I read books, go to shopping, watch movies and play different sports (usually individualistic). Occasionally I go out with some friend. I practiced pick up and seduction everywhere I could, primarily in creating spontaneous conversation with women, flirting and asking her out. These days because I am super tired and unsatisfied due to female bitchiness I am focused on balance between social circle and cold approach and don’t approach much.

In primarily school I was standard gamer, and in high school I was moderate gamer while in the same time had best marks and physical/health attributes. I usually played strategy games.

The thing is, in the last time, it seems to me that all my free time activities more make me tired than rested and refreshed for new life opportunities. I need some relaxation from everyday life, I miss video games and it seems to me if I again played some in some free weekends it would mentally relax me. I don’t mean on any game, just some continuations of games I liked in high school.

I want your opinion. Do you play video games and how much? When do you play them? How it influenced you seduction development? Would you recommend them or not? Now, I still don’t play anything but I never found article on this topic.

Playing video games in and of itself isn't necessarily detrimental to success with girls. There are examples of skilled seducers who are known to dabble every once in a while. For instance, Teevster played some Warcraft III during the COVID lockdowns in 2020 and 2021.

From your writeup it seems like you need to find ways to get a physical release from your stressful job, things like full-contact combat sports, jogging, swimming, weightlifting, maybe soccer or rugby. Remember that video games won't relax you physically.

As for articles on the topic, here are Teevster's (I was still Lead Editor back then and remember cleaning up these babies):
  1. Seduction Lessons from RTS games I
  2. Seduction Lessons from RTS games II

I agree with Bismarck.

And I am in a similar position. Realizing I need a better way to wind down than sitting in front of a screen, I've thought of a simple framework.

To wind down properly, you need to rest and/or play.

What is play? Play is being engaged in a loosely structured exploration of a skill. Think of someone dabbling on a guitar, practicing new techniques on a punching bag, trying out a new trail on a mountain bike. The hard part of play is finding the skill to build that excites you, and then also having structured time that is NOT play to build your skills further. Play is then time away from structured lessons and drills that lets you explore your current level and capabilities.

Why is this useful? I find it very cathartic, fun, energizing, and a great way to unwind from work if I'm restless. If I am genuinely tired, then I'll take a nap.

I don't think that video games are a detriment, but I wouldn't use them as your main way to wind down. On occasion, but I think the rest/play is a much better way to wind down.

I'd like to get to get to a place where video games are only to keep me busy when I'm sick or otherwise out of commission. The real world is a better open world sandbox than any other tbh

Physical activity that makes you sweat is the greatest way of elevating your mood and combating tiredness.
