i went out last night to a college bar with the goal of getting my opening rates up since they’ve been dropping for the past couple of weeks now.
this bar had a dancefloor area where most people stayed and talked instead of dancing(since the venue wasn’t filled to the brim)
i opened this law school chick from the dancefloor and led her to the bar to do shots. she was about 3 years older so she brought up an age objection which i highly doubt was a serious objection
we go to the bar and we’re talking about career, law school etc i’m trying to relate these talking points to her and her personality and i’m getting good reactions but she doesn’t get to the point where she’s invested in the conversation and maybe even leading/contributing highly.
after a while, she leaves to join her friend and i try to number close but she wouldn’t give me her number because of the age objection (again, i think this objection would be non-existent if i had better game)
i’ve had this happen to me consistently at night game scenarios where i open a girl but fail to hook. In day game, it’s less of a problem because the environment is much calmer and there are almost no distractions which buy me time.
How do I solve this? I had a friend in my group that night who i suspect is natural and his strategy was just to go super direct and build the conversation from there. At the end of the night, he had girls trying to pull him over text.
I’m thinking of adopting this strategy next time I go out and seeing how it works. My hypothesis is that it’s better to be sexual/flirty early on in the conversation in night game since it gets women excited hence, raising compliance
