I talk fast. People have told me that now that I'm in other country although I thought I was not doing it. That's one of the fundamentals I have to correct. I don't feel like I talk too fast but I guess I go into habit and it happens. I've recorded myself with a normal speed and low paced one. Yes, the low paced is better. But, I guess most of the time the speed manifest due to a lack of pauses. Like when you read, there are lots of punctuations (commas, periods, etc.) that most of the time people dont use while talking. It's my habit and I'm working on it.

Anyways, maybe you guys could help me or anyone trying to improve this. What are the best ways to practice slow talking? What did you guys did?

Thanks!

PS: Right now I try to think a lot about it when talking: pace down, pause, take your time. Also, I talk to myself. I picture a scenario and talk, imagine the answer/question and continue.

Well it depends on how you define talking fast, but you don't want to sound like a kid getting all glowy and jumpy as he see's an ice cream truck.

It doesn't matter if you speak fast.
Work on your energy and presence. As long as you sound manly the RPM doesn't matter.
Your voice will follow your comfort.

If that doesn't work for you find a voice coach, we can't advise on your speech without hearing it or working with you personally on that.
